What is Volara® Foam?

What is Volara foam? Volara is a closed-cell, irradiation cross-linked foam, meaning air and moisture cannot pass through. Additionally, our foam goes through a special radiation crosslinking process to enhance its performance and functionality capabilities. Its smooth surface, consistent density and uniform gauge offers unmatched physical properties.

Available in a variety of grades, Volara foam is smooth and flexible, lightweight and durable, offers high impact resistance and a wide range of uses. To demonstrate, see the list below of common applications within transportation, general industrial, industrial tape, recreation and leisure, and tape and healthcare.

Consider adding Volextra®, which combines the superior properties of Volara, with the added benefit of an extrusion coating that is melt-bonded to one-side, both sides or between layers of Volara foam. Available finishes are leather grain, burlap, glossy or matte.
