A New Chapter Begins: Project Endeavor Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

SEKISUI Voltek officially celebrated the opening of its new expansion facility, Project Endeavor, with a ribbon cutting ceremony held on Tuesday, May 19th.

The event brought together company leadership, employees, community partners, contractors, and local and state officials to commemorate a major milestone in the company’s continued growth and commitment to innovation in Michigan.

Project Endeavor represents a significant investment in SEKISUI Voltek’s future manufacturing capabilities and long-term commitment to serving customers with high-performance polyolefin foam solutions. Designed to operate as a standalone production facility, the new plant enhances operational resiliency, supports future expansion opportunities, and incorporates advanced automation and process technologies that improve efficiency and visibility throughout production.

“We are proud to celebrate this important milestone,” said Neil Beckhusen. “Project Endeavor reflects our commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and the future of manufacturing in Coldwater. This facility would not have been possible without the support of our parent company, SEKISUI Chemical, our community partners, and especially our employees whose dedication helped bring this vision to life.”

During the ceremony, company leadership recognized the many individuals and organizations that contributed to the success of the project, including the project teams from Abonmarche, AVB, contractors, and local partners who supported the development and construction of the facility.

Special thanks were also extended to Mayor Tom Kramer, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), and the Coldwater Area Chamber of Commerce for their continued support throughout the project.

The ceremony concluded with the official ribbon cutting followed by tours of the facility and light refreshments for guests.

Project Endeavor further strengthens SEKISUI Voltek’s ability to support customers across a wide range of industries while continuing to invest in advanced manufacturing, sustainability, and long-term growth in the Coldwater community.
