SEKISUI Voltek to Sponsor Car at Daytona

Local Coldwater resident Gage Rodgers with mockups of sponsored car

Coldwater, MI— SEKISUI Voltek is happy to announce they are sponsoring local Coldwater resident, Gage Rodgers, in his first ARCA Menards Series 200 race at Daytona International Speedway. Gage will be driving the Kimmel Racing #68 car on Saturday, February 18, 2023.

“This is a really unique opportunity for us to highlight our Volara® foam on a large platform, such as Daytona International Speedway. Gage being from Coldwater also made it an easy decision for us. We are proud of Gage and will all be rooting for him to bring home a win” says President and CEO Neil Beckhusen.

Gage’s car and fire suit will highlight Voltek’s Volara® brand of foam. Volara is a closed cell, cross linked polyolefin foam used in a variety of applications, including in the automotive market.

Gage has been racing since he was young and got his initial start racing Sprint Karts. At 14, he began racing Asphalt Modifieds and worked up to Pro Late Models. Gage is building his racing resume and already has two regional championships and a WKA Grand National Championship, with a win at Daytona.

“As a Coldwater resident, it means a lot to be sponsored by a local company like SEKISUI Voltek. I’m looking forward to representing their Volara brand of foam and my hometown, Coldwater, MI” says Rodgers.

The race will be televised on FS1 and streaming on the Fox Sports App.
