Sekisui Voltek LLC, a global leader in the development of high-performance flexible polyolefin foam, is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to install, repair and maintain all types of equipment used for building support, product development, and manufacturing of Company products. RESPONSIBILITIES
• Read and follow electrical and mechanical schematics
• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair
• Install, tune, diagnose, and repair electronic control systems and microprocessors
• Collaborate with other departments such as Production or Engineering on complex mechanical projects
• Maintain written records to document repair histories, repair parts usage and work order completion
• Enter repair information to the Maintenance Tracking Software
• Participate in group-based problem solving activities•
QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Capability in at least one of the electricity, electronics, plumbing, welding, or millwright trades
• Frequent use of hand tools, power tools, and motorized vehicles
• Read and understand meters, gauges and calipers, instruction manuals and blueprints
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics (compressed air), and sheet metal work
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Utilize critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently
• 3 to 5 years maintenance experience in an industrial environment preferred
