Maintenance Mechanic

SEKISUI Voltek, a global leader in the development of high-performance flexible polyolefin foam, is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to install, repair and maintain all types of equipment used for building support, product development, and manufacturing of Company products. Responsibilities

  • Read and follow electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair
  • Install, tune, diagnose, and repair electronic control systems and microprocessors
  • Collaborate with other departments such as Production or Engineering on complex mechanical projects
  • Maintain written records to document repair histories, repair parts usage and work order completion
  • Enter repair information to the Maintenance Tracking Software
  • Participate in group-based problem solving activities

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Capability in at least one of the electricity, electronics, plumbing, welding, or millwright trades
  • Frequent use of hand tools, power tools, and motorized vehicles
  • Read and understand meters, gauges and calipers, instruction manuals and blueprints
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics (compressed air), and sheet metal work
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Utilize critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • 3 to 5 years maintenance experience in an industrial environment preferred

Systems Engineer

SEKISUI Voltek is hiring for a Systems Engineer. This position plays a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing complex computer systems and networks. This job requires a multidisciplinary approach involving hardware, software, and network engineering. (Read more)

Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain enterprise applications and infrastructure.
  • Prioritize and resolve IT concerns and escalating serious issues to relevant stakeholders.
  • Avoid service interruptions by performing system installations, updates, and maintenance procedures.
  • Document processes and maintain service desk records utilizing Microsoft Devops.
  • Make recommendations to optimize IT performance and prevent future problems.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure that IT needs are met.
  • Keep informed of advancements in technology.
  • Provide support to end users on a variety of issues. identify, research, and resolve technical problems.
  • Provide updates, status, and completion information to managers and/or users.
  • Work with local teams to maintain several cloud-based systems, applications, and services.
  • Monitor performance, capacity and operational statistics for operating systems, applications and servers; including cloud services, file and print systems, virus defense, web services and remote access.
  • Upgrade server and infrastructure hardware/software based on hardware/software life cycle policy.
  • Serve as the project lead on technical projects based on the business plan.
  • Provide mentorship and training for new team members, computer services staff, and external support teams.

Requirements:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar.
  • Industry certifications: CCNA, Palo Alto, Azure OR the ability and willingness to acquire certifications within first year of employment.
  • Three or more years experience in an IT performance analysis and infrastructure support role.
  • In-depth and current knowledge of computer programs and hardware.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Plan, install, configure, maintain, support, and optimization of all wide area networks, local area networks and firewalls, Active Directory and conditional access to corporate systems, all hybrid (on-prem and cloud based) data center servers, data storage and connectivity, vulnerability assessments and scoring.
  • Stay current with all system and equipment security patching.
