Maintenance Mechanic – Night Shift

We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for our night shift to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will install, repair, and maintain a wide range of production and facility equipment that supports the manufacturing of our products. The ideal candidate will respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance and minimizing downtime. • Shift Schedule: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday.
• Shift Differential: Additional $1.75/hour night shift premium.

Key Responsibilities:

• Move, level, and align machines and equipment
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems
• Install, tune, diagnose, and repair electronic control systems and microprocessors
• Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams on complex mechanical projects
• Maintain records of repair history, parts usage and completed work orders
• Enter service data into the Maintenance Tracking Software
• Participate in team-based problem-solving activities

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 – 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
• Skilled in at least one of the following trades: electrical, electronics, plumbing, welding, or millwright
• Frequent use of hand tools, power tools, and motorized vehicles
• Ability to read meters, gauges and calipers, instruction manuals and blueprints
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and control systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking abilities
• Comfortable working independently on night shifts
