Minicel®. Because sometimes thicker is better.
Minicel is an extremely fine-celled, chemically crosslinked foam in bun form that is ideal for a wide variety of applications where a thicker foam is required. It combines a smooth aesthetic feel with superior physical and chemical properties, and is available in a wide range of types, colors and densities.
Typical Minicel applications
- Transportation:
- anti-rattle pads, Class A finish packaging, space shuttle components, gaskets, marine buoys and bumpers, waterproof cushions
- Tape and Healthcare:
- medical packaging, orthotic and prosthetic padding, wheelchair pads, suture counters
- General Industrial:
- appliance gaskets and insulation, artifact packaging, protective packaging, lifejackets, seating, building and construction applications, camping and canoe accessories
