Our
Volextra process is an extremely flexible extrusion coating capability. Using state of the art technology, solid plastic is permanently melt bonded to our Volara® foams. Polyolefin based coatings can be engineered to match your design needs, in a range of thicknesses from 0.0015" to 0.055". Volara foam is available in a density range from 2 to 20 pcf, and foam thickness range from .015" to .375". Volextra provides a decorative advantage and allows for the design of composite materials with high-performance characteristics. Volextra is abrasion, chemical, and moisture resistant. It is highly durable and ideal for demanding applications.
