VOLTEK CHANGES NAME: RECOGNIZES HERITAGE TO CAPITALIZE GLOBALLY
LAWRENCE, Mass. (April 3, 2006) – Voltek, LLC, a leader in the development and production of cross-linked, closed-cell polyolefin foams, has changed its name to Sekisui Voltek, LLC recognizing its heritage as part of the worldwide network of Sekisui companies.
“In North America, Voltek has an established reputation as the leading supplier of crosslinked polyethylene foam,? Nic Waterman, Director, Marketing and Customer Satisfaction, said. ?But, we have not fully promoted our global resources and expertise.”
Voltek was originally founded as part of the Sekisui network of companies. This network has given Voltek access to a global supply of products, provided access to significant R&D capabilities, and increased access, availability, and diversity of products in local markets. Additionally, the Sekisui network has provided Voltek with the ability to flexibly manage local capacity bottlenecks and to globally source raw materials in order to control costs and provide maximum product availability.
“Our new name merges the already strong Voltek name with the globally-recognized Sekisui brand, and leverages our identity to the advantage of the company and our clients,” Waterman added. “It?s a win-win deal for everyone.”
